Pest infestation is a common problem faced by most homeowners especially in summers. No one wants the little monsters to roam around their house freely. In addition, avoid any leaking pipe in your house and fix it right away because the stagnant water anywhere in your house can invite mosquitoes to breed and lead to a risk of malaria.

4. Close Your Chimney

Chimneys are another entry point for pests to your home. It is often neglected and needs to be closed with either a chimney cap or screen. If not, it will pave a way for mice, small insectes, bugs, spiders, etc. Not only will these pests damage once they enter your home but can also lead to several health problems for your family later. Therefore, it is important that you guard your chimney before it’s too late.

5. Trim Your House-plants Regularly

If you have outdoor plants , you need to trim them regularly. Not only to maintain them but also to prevent insects crawling in the house. The trees and bushes that are in contact with your siding or roof can provide an entry point for insects to enter your house. Regularly trimming your outdoor plants will help control insect infestation.
